Dr. Gorelick received his BS and MD degrees from Northwestern University. He performed an internship and surgical and urological residencies at the New York-Cornell University Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident in Urology from 1988 to 1989. Dr. Gorelick performed additional training in urology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He joined Urology Associates of Danbury, P.C. in 1989. He is an attending urological surgeon at Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network and has been a clinical instructor at the John Dempsey Hospital-University of Connecticut Health Center.
In addition, Dr. Gorelick maintains an active interest in the formation of health care policy. He is the former Vice President of the Fairfield County Medical Association and presently serves as an associate counselor to the Connecticut State Medical Society. He has also served as an American Urological Association representative to the AMA. Although Dr. Gorelick performs general urology, his areas of special expertise include male infertility, erectile dysfunction and reconstructive urology. Also named among the “Top Physicians in Connecticut” by Connecticut Magazine, Dr. Gorelick is certified by the American Board of Urology, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association.
